Driving a motorcycle does not provide a biker or passenger the same physical protection as a car or truck may afford. Both victims were taken by helicopter to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment of their severe traumas. Reports do not indicate what may have caused or led up to the crash between the car and motorcycle.
